Brene Brown: The Power of Vulnerability

I have huge admiration for Brene Brown and the research she is doing on vulnerability, shame, leadership. This TED talk highlights that vulnerability is important in forming strong connections with others and transforming relationships. This is something that many leaders struggle with. They feel they have to be strong, not show emotions, have all the answers etc. However, in the long term the opposite is true. Building authentic relationships enables us, as individuals, and the teams and groups we are members of to soar.

I invite you to watch this video and reflect on how it relates to how you show up at work and home.
